Do yourself a favor and drive to the downtown casino where the payouts are better, the free play higher and they actually have reasonable happy hour prices and food credits. I may sound like a disgruntled patron but pull aside a current employee or two and they will support the view I've shared. My win loss statement shows me upside down by thousands and I can't remember the last time the machines paid out a medium size jackpot (oh maybe I do, when it was the Hard Rock). I wouldn't even mind that if the machines would actually enable a good payout every so often.
I am a platinum member which according to them is 2nd highest yet I receive $5 of freeplay. A domestic bottle is $5 and liquor will run you $10. They increased beverage prices and eliminated all food credits. Everyone realizes the pandemic would affect business but MGM seems to have taken this as an opportunity to gouge it's patrons.
MGM has done everything possible to turn customers toward their Casino competition in downtown Cleveland.
